TEACHING SCHOOL DIRECTOR / DEPUTY HEADTEACHER
Newick CE Primary School was one of the first schools in East Sussex to become a Teaching School. We work closely together with the East Sussex Teaching School Alliance to lead on educational initiatives throughout the county.
Pay Range Leadership Scale L3-L10 dependent on experience
Applicants are invited to apply for both roles or either the Deputy Headteacher role (0.4-0.6fte to be further discussed) or the Teaching School Director role (0.4fte).
Initially this is a fixed term contract until August 2019 with the possibility of a permanent contract. This could be a secondment opportunity for the right candidate.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Teaching School Director will lead the strategic and operational development of Newick Teaching School Alliance.
The Deputy Headteacher will work in partnership with the Headteacher to provide professional leadership, working with the pupils and the local community to fulfil the vision of the Christian ethos of the school.
